AI for Digital TransformationHow to Handle AI in Schools

Course Motivation: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming various sectors, including education. ChatGPT and other AI tools present unique opportunities for enhancing learning but also raise important ethical, practical, and pedagogical challenges. As AI becomes more prevalent in schools, educators need to understand both the potential and the limitations of these technologies. This course aims to equip educators, administrators, and policymakers with the knowledge and skills needed to manage AI in educational settings effectively.
Course Description: This 7-day intensive training course provides a comprehensive overview of how AI, specifically ChatGPT, can be utilized, understood, and managed in the educational context. Each day includes lectures, hands-on activities, and seminars with industry experts. Participants will explore topics such as the fundamentals of AI, ethical considerations, practical classroom applications, and potential risks. Through this training, educators will gain insights into AI’s role in learning environments and the tools needed to implement best practices.
Teaching Method: This course combines lectures, interactive workshops, case studies, and expert seminars. Participants will engage in group discussions, practical exercises, and critical analysis to deepen their understanding of AI’s role in education. Guest speakers from academia and the tech industry will also provide perspectives on the latest developments in AI and education policy.
